Spice MI 280 Review,Price in India

Spice MI 280 is an Android 2.3 Touch screen smart phone offered at a price of 5,300 INR in India. The mobile offers a 2.8“ capacitive touch screen and a 650 MHz processor. The Spice MI 280 is one of the cheapest mobile to boast Android Gingerbread OS and a bunch of features like capacitive touch screen display ,3G support and a front facing camera for Video calling.

Here are the important specifications of the Spice MI 280 :

Display: Capacitive touch Screen 2.8″ with 240*320 and 262k Colors.

Processor: 650 MHz

RAM: 256 MB

Internal Memory: 134 MB

External: Up to 32 GB via Micro SD

Camera: 3.2MP Rear, VGA in the front.

Connectivity: 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth v2.1

The mobile offers Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity and also has a front facing camera. However the low internal memory and under powered processor can only live up to normal usage as Android OS is quite resource savvy and games and multimedia apps would not perform up to the mark.

The low internal memory especially is a deal breaker as it does not allow to have wallpapers of size more than 35KB.

Another con is the rear camera which also proved to be pretty basic and did not impress us at all. However considering the price at what it has been offered, a capacitive touch screen and Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity with a front facing cam is quite generous.

So if you want to buy a Smartphone for basic usage, the Spice MI 280 might be a great deal.
